TABS Program in Nashville

(Tracking Accountability Bond Supervision)

What You Need to Know After Release | Davidson County Domestic Violence Court

If your loved one has been released on bond in Nashville, Tennessee, they may be required to participate in the Tracking Accountability Bond Supervision (TABS) program.

At Bail & Rescue Bonding – “The Bond Lady”, we make sure you understand exactly what to do next so there are no mistakes that could affect the bond.

What Is the TABS Program?

TABS (Tracking Accountability Bond Supervision) is a court monitoring program through the General Sessions Domestic Violence Court in Davidson County.

It is designed to ensure that defendants follow all court-ordered bond conditions, which may include:

  • GPS ankle monitoring
  • No-contact orders
  • Stay-away restrictions
  • Other court-imposed requirements

TABS officers monitor and report compliance to the court—but they do not make decisions or change bond conditions. Only a judge can do that.

IMPORTANT: Reporting Requirement (DO NOT MISS THIS)

If TABS is ordered, the defendant must:

Report IN PERSON
By 2:00 PM the next business day after release

Failure to report can result in:

  • Bond review
  • Possible violation
  • Risk of being taken back into custody

💡 The Bond Lady Tip:
This is one of the most common mistakes people make after getting out. Always go the next business day—no exceptions unless the court says otherwise.

👉 All decisions come directly from the judge.
